For the love of God, please don't try to make our old sick leave system look good. 5 hrs/mo was a complete joke. That system had people flying sick all the time as well. Get a bad cold and sit out a couple of trips? There goes your entire sick accrual for the year. Fall off your bike and hurt your shoulder? There goes your sick time accrual for the last two years. 5 hrs/mo was atrocious. 6hrs/mo is completely inadequate as well. We should be aiming for 9hrs/mo at a bare minimum on our next contract (and get rid of the 95/mo rule).
