Correction to Above Thread
I duplicated the comments that the DO made on the first attaboy and posted the same comments from the CEO. That was an editing error.
The info below is from the CEO last Thanksgiving and provided valuable insights into his leadership style.

Thank you to everyone who has put baker first and jumped head first into this aviation lifestyle. This business is definitely a lifestyle business as it always impacts your personal lives. We are all happiest and the most successful when we embrace the business which provides our lifestyle. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying business is the most important thing in our lives, I am simply saying that finding the harmony of fitting your work with your lifestyle enables happiness. Aviation definitely requires that. There is a saying that business coaches and motivational speakers say “if you take care of the business it will take care of you.” This certainly holds true at Baker as I really feel like our team works to take care of the business, execute the mission, and spread the word about the opportunities here at Baker. While we are not explorers finding new land and making peace with the natives this Thanksgiving we are however new to this industry and have faced many challenges earning a reputation and trust from our customers (the brokers). This year is a fine example of how all of us are thriving because of the care you have given the business, and our customers, in return the business is strong and we all have a secure future at Baker. I am very thankful for that. While there is always room for improvement, and Baker is always improving, you have heard me say in the past “if we work hard and take care of our stuff then we can have nice things,” I say that as an unofficial mission statement for Baker. We are working hard and taking care of our stuff. This is evident by our fuel savings this month (and soon to be every month in the future forever) by simply focusing on sticking to our business model of FL470 or better. With minimal discussion or pushback our team will save 15,000 gallons of fuel this month and 20,000 gallons next month. You may wonder how many 911 Turbos I am going to buy with this or if I am going to squander that cash into a boat or whatever.. The answer is simply NO, we are going to use it for nice things. So far this year we have reinvested nearly 95% of the business earnings back into the business via aircraft purchases, starlink pre payments, parts inventory, maintenance staff, and aircraft paint/interior. There are still more nice things to come as we keep working hard and beat out the competition on all fronts. Some of the nice things take a while to materialize and some things happen quickly but as we stay focused we all end up better. I will be making a few more important announcements next week that will further reinforce Baker’s commitment to our team and our customers. For now, if you are away from home because of this lifestyle then please find somewhere that’s open for dinner and get dinner on Baker today. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! See you around at some point.
