With all due respect, no one and no airline is not irreplaceable. This is the mistake that ACA did. United replaced them with a crappy airline but that bad airline is still in biz. and high and mighty ACA is not.
Don't get me wrong, I had lotsa friends in ACA and i truly believe that UAL's move was bad, but at the same time 'i cannot be replaced' attitude doesn't go that well..
Here's my math..
RAH can keep 24 CRJs, add about 40 more EMBs to the CoEx fleet tomorrow.
MAG can settle with delta and get Freedom to fly for Conti next week..
See where i am going with this?
