I understand you may miss out on a big GS but if you do a lot of them, it isn't a big deal to miss one and if you don't do many, it really doesn't have much affect on your gross earnings for the year anyway. Just not worth it. I'd much rather have a normal night's rest and wait for another oppurtunity.
If everyone does what you do this won't work and they will move to the IA blast and pay another senior who is probably sound asleep and will wake up to a surprise 23M7. There will be eager people who accept trips that haven't had a wink of sleep all night as they do the QS scramble for the 7th time at 5am. Auto accept was the only way to participate without all the nuisance calls, that is now gone.
