My local dealer in my new town told me they called the warranty company, and they had no record of my VIN purchasing one!

So I called the original dealer (which was fortunately still in business), and he researched and discovered that they "forgot to buy the warranty" from the warranty company. Riiiiiiight. Further, the warranty company wouldn't sell them the policy I paid for! They asked if I wanted to explore "other warranty options." Uhhh... no. I was a little short with the dealer rep. I told them I want my funds returned immediately, and they fortunately did it with no hesitation.

So my $3300 warranty (ouch, I know) was refunded, and the total I spent on repairs in the 8 years I owned the car was under $1000, for that steering wheel button and a fuel pressure sensor. The warranty definitely wouldn't have paid off in my case. That Fusion was a fantastic car; I really liked it.
we also had a 2014 fusion that we drove for ten years and all three kids learned on. We had zero issues with that car.
