Didn't seem cheap, but there's a bit of a learning curve with everything on the screen. They had it speed limited to 85 so that was a buzzkill but the wife told me I was nuts for mashing the "gas" on the onramp. Wasn't a fan of the hard braking when you let off the accelerator but saw a setting in there to make it "normal" and that made it drive better I thought. Suspension didn't seem too stiff, but I drive a 1/2 ton truck and a Jeep so I'm not real picky. I'm used to the camera display on the rear view mirror on my truck and the back window was pretty tiny so I missed that and I like the HUD on the truck as well. The FSD is a trip....
Man, that’s awesome! Glad you had a good time! The regenerative braking has actually become one of my favorite parts of driving a Tesla! A few iterations on the screen and it becomes very natural. There’s enough settings to personalize it a bit but not too many to give a complexity headache. I experienced Tesla after the recent refreshes. I understand road noise, suspension improvements, and interior quality were addressed so I’ve never had a complaint in those areas. My wife and I believe the Tesla is quieter and smoother than her Lexus RX350.
