In the end, the AI machine will be replacing tons of jobs today, tomorow and the future. Our own jobs will one day be replaced by AI.
Some of the AA positions could special assignment jobs filled by union people who go back to their primary unionized work.
If 4% of chief pilot jobs get cut no one hits the street, same in other departments.
Does the EFB manager/director really need be CA qualified? They didn’t just switch over and need a pilot perspective to put out fires.
The other labor groups likely have positions promoted from the rank and file that can just be eliminated.
