That's a bit of hyperbole. I saw a Waymo delivery robot stuck in a ditch last week; we will one day be replaced but the fact we have jobs today is not because the FAA says so.
Difficult to see total replacement, but one can expect AI creating the window for, and the political pressure for, single pilot ops.
