Of course I would have preferred the new hire CA Vacancy bids to go to guys like me with a significant amount of time who went through the Lost Decade thanks to Age 65 and 2008 recession etc) vs some (I know it was a small minority) of those guys and girls who held it right away and are mid 20s with only a few years in the Industry. (Im selfish, what can I say, lol) Good for you guys, you hit it perfectly but I hope you can kind of see why some of us wished the Short Upgrades were still a thing. and listen, I get it, nobody's fault but my own, this industry doesn't owe me anything. I have only flown with a few of them and they have all been great, please don't take it as me complaining they shouldn't be there. I remember when I first upgraded at Spirit I had F/Os who had way more experience than me who came from DHL and they were all incredibly helpful and amazing F/Os even though they had a raw deal. I try to be like them and not some miserable Ahole.
