Question… I have a day trip on Sunday I picked up which now says NOOP and not 23k. I also noticed my time card is missing those hours. Is there a reason why it doesn’t say 23k? It does show a 6 hour window on call that day tho. Do the hours get added after the day depending on what I fly?
Just for anyone lurking, when a NOOP happens, realize 23K is just a scheduling pay code.
To determine if you actually have a recovery obligation, best practice is to check your schedule in iCrew (NOT MiCrew), click OK, then click on "
Display Reserve Call Status Information". On the page that displays, if you see a 6 hour window, starting at your original report time, labeled as "NR" (Not Rest),
then you have a recovery obligation. If nothing shows, then you are off the hook.
Remember, you can pick up a 'recovery slip' of at least half the credit of the original trip if you would rather jump on that mini-grenade, and that will fulfill your recovery obligation.
