Believe it or not, I actually think the flight cancellations might work out in favor of F9. The government effectively told every airline in the US that you can cut unprofitable routes / undersold flights at will, without penalty. Thats the wet dream of any airline CEO.

Before this was illegal, but for this week and this week alone, they can literally just chop the flights that are undersold with no warning.

depending on how you look at it, this might be one of the most profitable week for airlines in general.

Someone with the actual numbers can comment and confirm my speculation.
