Of course it's not and can't be the last big vacancy for the junior fleets. Numbers can't lie. Numbers simply can't support this being anywhere near the last oppurtunity to upgrade. Company is trying to get more senior ones who are delaying upgrade to instead keep enjoying seniority longer at their present position to upgrade instead of having lots of juniors in captain seats. Trying to get things more balanced. Otherwise it's laughable to say this will be the last oppurtunity for another year. The wording in CRU says "best oppurtunity to upgrade on that fleet..." Cleverly creating panic if you don't read it again. Even if they have 100 seat vacancies every month until the end of next year, the one vacancy that has 200+ is "the best oppurtunity" out of all of them of course.
And even if they had said "this will be the last vacancy on xxx fleet for another year." I find it adorable that so many people believe what management says like it has any guarantee to be true. Very adorable.
Numbers don't support this being anywhere near what the paniced believe it to be.
This ☝🏼, that’s why I like Math, it gives us facts.
But what’s in it for the company to get rid of of the topped out FO’s to upgrade…..that’s more people topped out people in the left seat?
