There will still be vacancy bids almost every month. There will be almost monthly WB bids to cover retirements. There will be also NBCA, but just not like the ones we are seeing this month and in December. We have 21 787s delivered in 2026 and 281 WBCA retirements between now and November 2026 which means they need to have at least 400 WBCA bids over the next year, many of which will leads to NBCA backfills.
128 Deliveries total with 450 retirements means a lot of hiring, upgrading and training. 200 Guppy captains doesn't "fully staff 2026 flying" like some on here are alluding.
