yep.

AA management bought their concessions with a flow that was - for those on property - superior to the flow American Eagle (now Envoy) pilots had. They set it up so the entire MEC at PSA who never had any AA flow, if they took the concessions would flow to AA within a year, while many Eagle guys had been waiting over a decade. The PSA concessions broke a regional industry consolidation of every pilot group voting no on concessions…. Right up until PSA said yes.

AA even went into Eagle crew rooms telling Eagle FO’s to trade their Eagle ID for a PSA ID and they’d flow to AA in half the time. It worked, Eagle went from 3200 pilots to just over 1850 in less than a year… voting no on concessions the entire time, AA threatened to Comair Eagle and were actually doing it as opposed to just threatening. They made the same threat to Brown-Streak while actually growing them…. and their pilots caved, took the concessions, and flowed to AA years ahead of the Eagle guys,
smart career wise, but it was screw everybody else to get mine. Companies know pilots will do this eventually every time. That’s why they win.
