if the two groups don't get on the same page Republic will do to Mesa what SkyWest did to ExpressJet. Republic will start to transfer Mesa's aircraft and desirable assets to the Republic Certificate, at the same time they will offer Mesa Pilots a chance to interview for jobs at Repubic and transfer over with longevity pay credit but enter at the bottom of the seniority list. Eventually the husk of the unwanted Mesa assets and the certificate will be sold to the highest bidder.
