I agree 100%. CAL can pull a quarter of the fleet if they wanted to, but 205 aircraft would almost be financial suicide. There are simply not enough players (aircraft or 145 trained pilots) to replace a fleet of that magnitude.

Here's something else to consider, we (XJT) have over 100 patents on the Embraer 145. Those belong to XJT, and are licensed as such, you think we're just going to surrender that intellectual property. The doors, LR2 modifications (which CHQ is now benefiting from...you're welcome), the weight and balance program, not to mention all the software and hardware modifications to the FMS, the list goes on.

It's not as easy as it seems, furthermore, CAL learned a valuable lesson in the sacrifices that are made to customer service and the operation when you bring another regional partner that is not up to par.
