Parker was much worse for AA than vasu. At least vasu attempted to innovate where as the parker and america west strategy was to shrink, cut and play it safe. It's better to try and fail than not to try at all. Vasu was a foul-mouthed ego maniac but so was kirby and look at Kirby's run at United. Now we are stuck with a CEO that may very well be the most boring man alive and people in management positions that look up to that.
Vasu was the architect of our large (for the time) Europe expansion as well, back when we had more money to burn to test routes.
