What are the Spirit pilots not leaving supposed to think? That their airline is going to reduce their pay, then liquidate? The acquisition is the dream that makes the nightmare go away. The realists are leaving. Those left have to hope for an acquisition or Spirit to start making money. Acquisition seems more likely than Spirit making money as a stand-alone.
