The difference in breadth and depth of experience between those 2 kinds of applicants is night and day, but there seems to be more and more reports of those 3k pilots getting interviews while the pilots with 100x the real world experience and proven safety records are told they didn't even make the cut to get an interview.

With that immense discrepancy between what they're saying and what's actually happening, you may as well base your decision on the miata issue. Or the color their house is painted. Or shoe size. Because it sure as hell isn't flying experience and qualifications.

You ever thought that maybe people that think they are great leaders are not always good leaders?
