If one is a senior WBFO they would also be a reasonably senior NBCA. I think in every base/category I’d be more senior as a NBCA vs a WBFO - especially in the non-coast bases.
That being said, as a pretty senior WBFO (~35%) contemplating taking an upgrade, I pretty much assume the income will be the same.
Yes, that's my point. You can't really compare the two. You can only compare the same seniority the same individual would have in a different seat. A 10% NB FO is an 80% NBCA in my base. The 80% CA may be making more money, but only an individual can judge if that increase in pay would be worth what is a fairly significant nosedive in QoL.
