In our case I'm pretty sure it was a cancellation of the original flight as they rebooked people on the next days flight. We ended up taking the plane out ~23 hours later (after they fixed it) that was originally just going to be a ferry but then they decided to put some pax on it as we had a full crew ready to go. We used a ferry call sign, not the original flight number. They were going to stub it, but then it got more delayed, decided it would be something they didn't want to do, so that's where we ended up with the different call sign and the 19.5 hour trigger on the WDR. It was a very interesting situation.
My thoughts are it is RRPY. The "Pay ADJ" is still on the rotation in MiCrew. I just haven't seen anything reflected on the time card yet (14+ business days now).
Just send a claim to Crew Assist and see what they do. Maybe they pay it out. If they don't, follow up with an STS for an "official" union response.
