I’m eager to get to UA and am just hoping I can upgrade in under 7-10 years. Hell I’m just hoping to get there :’)
Yup, I would agree. It's anyone guess how long upgrade or WBFO would be for someone hired today, because of exactly this reason. I don't have the hiring numbers in front of me but we hired a lot of people between late 21 and early 24 especially. The phenomenon of new hire CAs and WBFOs, it's safe to say, will almost certainly never happen again. There are still literally thousands of people on property who have their upgrade/ WBFO bids in, but didn't get it in the most recent vacancy.
