I dunno, I’m pretty short so maybe its Napoleon Complex but Being a CA is pretty awesome. It’s a significantly easier Job than being an F/O (especially on a 737) and you make significantly more. Every CA thinks they’re “standard” and most here are, but every CA is slightly different and likes things done differently. You don’t have to be a Chameleon as a CA, you just show up and everyone adapts to you, not vice versa 🤷🏻♂️. There were a lot more headaches at NK for CAs to deal than what Ive seen here. Everyone here at UAL (F/As, Gate agents, DX are way more competent at doing their Jobs than What Ive experienced elsewhere so less for the CA to do)
That's not where the headache lies. It's more in the NB vs WB operation. For making about the same pay/day worked, you have to deal with far less. That's not discounting the fatigue, which is very real for many.
