There will be 20+ DTW717B on future AEs when the new hires start showing up on Virginia Ave. God bless them for getting stuck on the 717 in DTW, especially those who will be commuting from the west coast.
Not at all but I sometimes you see some move from ATL. I do expect to see the A side backfilled though.

It was a tough way to start here. New hire seniority really should go by age. I would have felt much better ending up in that position due to senior classmates actually being older, not random luck.
Standard schoolhouse rumor I heard was there was a an age discrimination lawsuit or they wanted to avoid the threat of one. Probably BS, but its logical in our litigious society. I know AAL did it by age with no issues. As one of the youngest in my class, I agree that it should be age.
