This is the problem with blind hatred. It gets hard to separate facts from vitriol. I'm no apologist for APA and I see plenty of issues with our contract. But this blind APA bad, ALPA good, Delta is better in every conceivable way nonsense isn't helpful.
Do our union leaders get their beak wet a little too much?Probably. They do the same thing at United, the same thing at the UAW and the same thing at the Teamsters. It isn't right but it's probably a cost of doing business.
We'd do better to stop sophomoric comparisons and focus on specific improvements to our contract. Copying and pasting isolated provisions from other contracts without considering second order effects is foolish.
