You’re being a little too arrogant here honestly. There was a short time pre-covid when DL was top dog by a mile and untouchable, those days are gone. Other carriers including United are making changes and innovations that DL is beginning to fall behind on now as they put all their energy into celebrating their 96th anniversary this year. And yeah JetBlue has great onboard product but they aren’t doing very hot either. On top of that, DL is losing money hand over fist in SEA, very likely operating LAX-HKG at a loss, and who knows what else is not earning cash, which is fine, most carriers do it and give it the name “strategic flying” to keep shareholders happy about less profit, but as soon as the economy stutters all that will dry up and more.
Agree with all this. Delta hubris is abundant. DL is falling behind in many areas, from the FlyDelta app to the hard product on many widebodies. That’s not to say that DL doesn’t lead in many areas, but it’s no longer all around dominant. Not even close to be honest.
