I have worked for a 36th Street cargo crap company and then a better cargo crap company before coming to UPS in 2000. There was always a dream to improve wages to be on par with UPS and FedEx at those prior lifetimes, but the revenue was just never there. We flew the same 727s they did, and even AA did (as they were the retired AA 100s).. The business model supports the wages and that is a hard pill at times, especially when you are working harder than the peers you aspire to.
