I don’t understand why WBA is seemingly the metric to beat all metrics for some. Company financials, how they’re procuring aircraft/age of aircraft, contract/pay (as best you can use current day to forecast the future), etc. are in my opinion far more important metrics. Some companies are much stronger than others - I’d rather work for the stronger company and maybe not do WBA vs. take a beating/earn less/more stress due to weaker company, but guys look at me, I’m a WBA for 3-5 years, nailed it! That’s subjective, not saying your opinion is wrong to place that much importance on WBA, I’m just providing the alternate perspective. “Missed the boat” is quite a subjective claim and not bigger picture focused.
