I don't know about you, but I didn't get into this career to be a 320 or 717 jockey the rest of my life. The dream was to fly heavy airplanes to international destinations. Dreams can change, evolve, sure, but I don't know of a young kid who says that he/she wants to be a pilot and what they mean is I want to fly a 737 between Albuquerque and Corpus Christi for the rest of my life (Southwest) or I want to fly to the Boro's.
If that's your idea of a great career, more power to you. Mine is getting paid to sleep in the bunk while flying to international destinations. You do you.
And my dream was to get paid to sit at home and only have to go to work 5 days a month. I could give a crap less if it's in a A350 or a Cessna 150. I have accepted the fact that I have a small pp, I don't need to compensate by operating the biggest airplane.
Some people don't like being stuck in a metal tube for 14 hours dealing with circadian swaps every week. But like you said...more power to you.
