Though as a 2014 hire I upgraded at 2.5 years too, and could have sooner had I bid it. Granted the MOAD put me right back in the right seat…. I merely point it out as 2 instances within a decade-ish that had sub 3 year upgrades. To say it won’t happen again I think is short sighted. But only time will tell.
Fair enough, but retirements at that point were much higher than the next 10 years. So 1000/year was barely keeping up at that time.
I'm not making predictions, just projecting for planning purposes, on the most likely course.
