Again the data supports that the vast majority of our non-commutes are due to ATCSCC. It's not "unreliable pilots"
even if this is true—but neither of us has the data—an increase in the minority of problems will have a cost.
Also, if they are doing travel waivers for a specific airport(s) then the commuters should be automatically given PS. If the company sends out the blast email that "due to XX malady we encourage all pilots to commute in early blah blah blah ginger" then those commuters should be given a hotel room or be reimbursed for coming in a day early. It's really not that hard.
the company essentially does this already, except for the hotel rooms. So I don't see how we'd have to give up a quid for this.
that’s a nice thought, but what “should” be done isn’t always done. anything that has a cost, and anything that has a value to us, is a negotiating point. how much capital are you willing to spend for this?
