My point was only to show seat seniority has more effect on QOL and pay in most cases. I'm NBA and choose RES for the pay and little work. I could just as well choose REG and make more money and work more. If I went to a higher paying seat that doesn't mean I will have higher earnings or a better QOL. The seat seniority is what gives me the discretion so RES vs REG and ability to manipulate things is relevant. The old adage of you can't compare is tired because many people flip month to month for a desired outcome. Seat seniority is what enables everything.
