Didnt take it away. But the amount available is calculated per share not $ amount. And we only get X amount of shares. So there will be less shares to be distributed to us as crew members since our stock is trading so low.

$1000 at $10 stock price buys 100 shares vs $1000 at $5 stock price buys 200 shares
