On several occasions I've cleared 200+ hours pay during summer months also for not much extra work (not even including PB cashouts here). I won't need to work to 67, I can park that money in a mutual fund and retire a decade earlier with twice the savings. How's that for spending more time with family?
I've seen this similar brag many a time, and every single one of them had an asterisk involving multiple weeks of vacation, 23M7 payments, illegal rotation construction, rolling thunder, copious reroute or assignment pay, and variations of all combined.
