Thankfully, ALPA is clearly already considering it, based on the survey. Cannot imagine that wasn’t a very popular suggestion. Very few can benefit on that scale to be opposed.
This is the third or fourth time I've tried bringing up this part of the MOU without gaining any traction...
23M7 should not apply to WS/OOBWS if the "harmed pilot" has already reached their WS pickup limit. Much of what is described above SHOULDN'T be happening, unless there were a lot of 23M7 greenslips.
The communication for the MOU stated the following:
"The implementation of a real-time system will more accurately determine pilot eligibility when considering a pilot’s white slip (WS) pick up limit. This automation has already been in development and demonstrated to the MEC Scheduling Committee."
