If there's domicile churn and bleeding edge junior CA's get displaced because there are people senior to them who take the opportunity, no I'm not concerned. BTDT, didn't ratchet my lifestyle up when I knew darn well I was in a likely temporary tax bracket.
Also we're literally talking about people being displaced from the top 5% of household income down to the top 10%. That's if wifey doesn't work.
But fundamentally, if they're shrinking the company by net 40 CA's that was going to happen anyway, not the fault of SAN.
The bottom 20 in SFO and the bottom 20 in SEA. ANC could be affected but not by much if a possibly affected SEA CA was willing to commute to ANC and there was a position open in ANC during the bid. The math is based on the last transaction bid and what was disclosed in the last email about SAN.

Yes I did. Based on what was said in the email and what pilots bid for on our last bid it seems like there will be at least 40 downgrades. Since 35 alone senior to the most junior SEA CA, bid for SEA CA but could not hold it on the last bid. There were quite a few who bid for LAX and SFO who could not hold those bases either who were much senior to the bottom 20 in SFO and the bottom 20 in SEA. There were at least 20 for LAX but I didn't do the math last time with a reduction bid in mind. So I didn't pay attention to all of the bids. LAX has a relatively senior group of CA at the bottom. These pilots will displace pilots at other bases if they do not go to SAN or stay in LAX.
