Default Want to Get Out of Training Contract?

From our CEO Tim Livingston

Today is another great day at Baker!

I just finished signing 3 upgrade letters for Baker pilots that upgraded from SIC to PIC.

Its fun to think about the future these guys have ahead of them at baker.

I was checking some YTD pay numbers for PICs that have been with us all year and they are all above $220k as of Nov 28th pay. Most are above $250k for the year already, and one is above $300k already.. in November

Its wild to think that 3.5 years ago when I took over Baker everyone was paying a flat salary of about $140k per year, no imagination, no growth, and **** benefits. I implemented incentive based pay against everyone's recommendation in the industry. 3 years later we have guys making what some airline Captains make all while using their 21 days PTO to take several 3 week long vacations and still flying 700-800 hours in a year.

On top of the CASH Baker pays for your benefits 100%. Healthcare, 401K, ESOP Retirement Plan and more. Why work somewhere that you have to give your hard earned money back to the company.. for anything..

And on top of all that - No training agreement. We don't want people working for us that don't want to be here. Its that simple. People often say "what if they don't like it here and quit after 2 months .. bla bla bla." I would counter with the following: what if they don't like it here and they STAY. You cannot put a dollar amount on the damage that a disgruntled "trapped" employee can do to your business. And if you read all this and you want to to work at baker if we hire you we will reimburse you for any costs incurred due to a training agreement at your old job. Lets realign the industry and get the A players setup with the A level employee ownership that Baker offers.

Anyway - Congrats guys - I want to see pictures of the new houses and cars this next year!

Also - Baker Aviation is Hiring Citation X and Challenger 300 PICs and SICs.
