Section 6.K.7

Vacation time from July 1 through September 15 and December 20 through January 3 awarded and subsequently vacated before the runs are posted for that month shall be offered at the time vacated to pilot(s) in order of Seniority, beginning with the pilot just junior to the pilot who vacated the bid

Section 22.I.4.b

One-Sided Trade: One (1) Bid Run pilot may pick up a Flight Grouping from another Bid Run pilot (with their concurrence) for no Flight Grouping in return. Such one-sided trades shall only be allowed through an online trade board on a first-come, first-served basis. The intent of this provision is to allow a pilot to drop a Flight Grouping that they would otherwise not be able to drop due to minimum staffing. It is not intended for senior pilots to bid for Flight Groupings in order to drop them to junior pilots who could not otherwise hold them. If the MEC feels at any time that this provision is being abused, it may at its sole discretion direct that this function of the Program be disabled.

We have had issues with married people giving senior trips to their junior spouses. MEC warned them that they would lose trading privileges if it continued
