There’s a document online that shows what days have open vacation time. There’s an online form to submit for vacation. There’s a deadline to bid for ther vacation if you are requesting vacation for the next bid month. After that deadline you can bid for pop up vacation that will remove your assigned trip and use vacation. I’m a little vague on the pop up vacation as I’ve never utilized it before.

our regular vacation bidding occurs in October and November. Must be in 7 day minimum periods. We can have multiple different blocks of 7 days in a vacation bid. Primary bidding is in october. Secondary bidding is in November and is used to bid for other vacation days if your primary bid was not awarded or if you just want to bid for more vacation.
