Truly mind boggling that some people here are okay with a B scale for wide body pilots on Alaska's seniority list. Especially when half of you complain that the big 3 and Skywest have better pay and work rules than Alaska. Amazon partners with Atlas and ABX for their wide body flying, who make less than their counterparts at UPS and Fedex doing the same type of flying, and you want them in parity with the lower paid cargo pilots? I mean why not stop there? Why don't you just create a B scale for the 737 guys doing the cargo ops? Sun Country is already flying Amazon 737s. We can match their pay rates, hire more pilots to staff the new Amazon 737s and hire more pilots so you can all move up the seniority list! Just keep whipsawing down so there is no "waste" in negotiating capital.
U wouldn’t get it dude. Theres a lot of open time flying right now so if you work 20 days a month and have your entire schedule re-arranged you’re going to be a top earner. So actually the B scale makes sense
