went to the airport news stand and bought a $5 (discounted) bottle. Ha a UA Captain behind me. I asked him if he would refuse an aircraft with NO WATER. He gave me an odd look and said “ that would never happen on a United aircraft”!

Why didn’t you just flat out refuse the plane? I’ve said a few times to ops I’m not going anywhere unless you get us some water. And I’m calling in fatigued in 15 minutes. It’s amazing how fast Water will show up. I might be bluffing, but it usually works.
