SAT decided to move Delta over to the new terminal and lock SWA out. Then SWA lost the lawsuit. That doesn't mean management is going to take their toys and go home. There is money to be made there. SAT is a big high yield O/D market with lots of full fare pax.
SAT airport leadership has slit their own throat. They scorned their biggest carrier and most loyal partner and now SWA is moving in with the young hottie up the highway.
Management had a choice where to spend money, where to deploy state incentives, where to hitch it’s wagon for the future and the choice they made is clear…… AUS over SAT.
