You guys are focusing too much on the next 3 years. Orange will be gone and at the pace he is ******* it up, Barbie Kent will be in and revert to Grandpa’s policies in 2029. United will be fine. Good product, good planes, vast network, raising the US bar on premium products. Drag McQueen (Kirby) is controlling what he can, has truly transformed United. Fleet wise, his ace in the deck is retiring older planes. Smart enough to order a crap load of planes, with the intention of parking older ones in case demand calls for it. Get in line for the planes early, and lots of them. Fleet growth is unsustainable and not gonna continue net growth, but that’s ok, fleet will be in excellent shape.

Drag McQueen has been very good for United, from a business perspective and an employee one as well, he meshes real well with the very woke workforce. Investors love him as does the board. Unless something changes drastically, United is very well positioned for the future, with the ability to adapt the fleet without getting stuck with old clunkers. Very good job (not for everyone), great fleet, what’s not to like?
