Do whatever you want with it....it belongs to you after all. Someone junior to you dealing with hurt feelings because they couldn't hold it is not your problem or concern. Same goes for senior pilots who bid turns they don't want to actually fly because they are easy to trade away. It's the benefit of seniority after all. I say this as a terminally junior guy who will age out long before I ever get close to holding summer or Christmas vacation.
