They are… obviously they can’t just grab a bunch of gates in Boston and start flying to every single JetBlue destination but look at trends in the industry and overall profitability.

Delta also doesn’t care about us. We’re not a threat to anyone and if we disappeared tomorrow our flying (the profitable routes) would be absorbed.

We used to be a threat when we first started out but now that the industry has evolved so much and we’re stuck in 2010, I think we’re just holding onto a life raft at this point.

This is a last ditch effort (the lounges and first class)… while everyone else already has that and a solid network and CC. The rich are getting richer and they don’t fly JB. The middle class and poor are struggling and guess who flies us.

I don’t know if you forgot but we’re trying to be the number one LEISURE carrier. /s
