Ok, over 12yrs ago, on the 88, first flght of the day from PIT-ATL with frozen over snow/ice on ramp due to low of like 20deg F. Portly CA slips on ice by airstairs and cuts his leg (bruises his pride), spends rest of preflight stopping bleeding, taking bandaids out of first aid kit, etc. Were supposed to do a turn after ATL, but on the way to ATL he says he's gonna call out sick/injured.

(We jokingly decide there is no way Delta is going to believe that a 88 CA did the walk around on a sub freezing, icy morning and decide we better say he fell in the terminal).
