Don’t care. We’re colleagues, not friends. As long as they are professional, no issues.
I waited almost a decade to upgrade after I first could have. I don’t look down on first officers. I was always taught walk around is the first officers job. If the captain does some, then it’s a bonus, not the expectation.
FWIW, the manual has changed. It used to say it was the FO’s job like at every other company.
