At this point, OOBWS is costing the company much more than it’s saving them. The number of pilots who acknowledge OOBWS rotations is incredibly low compared to the number of pilots who auto-accept them. Management wants OOBWS gone more than pilots do, and they would love nothing more than to get away with getting rid of it for free.

(Not saying that you personally are advocating to get rid of OOBWS for free. But others are.)

Ya man, 100% with you on not giving it away for free. But leverage is only good if you actually use it and there are plenty of things to address in our contract. Who knows maybe this will help early negotiations and/or an timely contract. But ya, it would need to be a pretty big quid for that exchange. There are plenty of things that would be much more beneficial to the group over keeping OOBWS where it is now.
