Doesn’t matter. DOH always plays (assuming any merger actually occurs. NK has ceased furloughing and those already furloughed and the other most junior pilots have generally all moved in. They had the least to lose because they were junior and both UA and AA have been hiring many of the 1600 or so who have left. That has really modified the longevity distribution of the NK pilot group. Virtually all of the remaining group has over 4 years longevity which in an SLI will significantly affect the “merge” in an SLI. REMAINING FURLOUGHEES (if any) will of course get screwed , but on longevity alone the NK pilots ought to compete fairly well. With seat locks they won’t displace any existing F9 CAs but the senior F9 FOs may take a hit.
