What to expect jumping from 135 to 121?
Howdy all,
Current 135 charter rat making the jump to 121. I have a January class date with AA and I'm beyond excited to come join ya'll. I've been lurking through the forums trying to get an idea of what to expect as this is my first experience with 121.
Mainly, I'm wanting to know what the best bid in class would be for me to minimize my commuting pains. I'm freshly 30 and live in DFW; no kids, just a girlfriend. I imagine I'll be on the younger half of the class and will have the last pick of equipment and bases.
If you were me, how would you slice and dice this? 737 seems to be better for early seniority progression. Any chance the XLR deliveries affect that? DCA, PHX, and ORD seem to be the best for commuting from DFW, though I see folks plug LAX a lot due to the red-eyes back to Texas.
